A women's body goes through a lot during those 9 months. A lot of change happens in the body in order to nourishing the growing baby. Some women have little to no issue while other women have an array of issues that arise over the course of their pregnancy.

Some of the most common symptoms during pregnancy are morning sickness, depression, headaches, heartburn, swelling in the legs, sciatic, low back/pelvis pain, carpal tunnel and difficulty sleeping.

Acupuncture has shown to regulate and alleviate a lot of these symptoms by stimulating the central nervous system. Acupuncture helps increase the vascular functioning, creates a strong stimulation and "re-boots" the nerve pathway. This sensation created by the insertion of the needles helps jump the neural signal and thus stimulates the brain to release endorphins/enkephalins.

Aside from the typical struggles of being pregnant, we are in the middle of a pandemic. There is a lot of fear and uncertainty since Covid-19 and understandably so. Acupuncture is fantastic for treating anxiety, fear, stress and overall wellness. There isn't a better time than NOW to take care of our mental/emotional health. Be your own advocate and invest in your health! Try some acupuncture, I promise you won't be disappointed!
